Welcome to DocuMindX (hereinafter referred to as "the App" or "Service"). Please read these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") carefully before using the App. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Overview

1.1 Service Description

DocuMindX is an AI-powered intelligent document processing and knowledge base application, providing the following services:

  • Document capture, upload, and management
  • AI-powered document analysis and information extraction
  • Personal knowledge base creation and intelligent Q&A
  • Document export (PDF, Word, Excel, and other formats)
  • Cloud data synchronization and storage

1.2 Service Tiers

  • Free: Basic document processing features with usage limits
  • Pro: Unlocks advanced features with increased quotas
  • Ultra: Full feature access with maximum quotas

Specific features and quotas are as displayed within the App.

2. Account Registration and Use

2.1 Eligibility

You confirm that when you complete the registration process or otherwise use the Service, you are a natural person with full civil capacity, a legal entity, or other organization. If you do not meet these qualifications, please do not use the Service.

2.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account information
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • If you discover unauthorized use or security risks, please contact us immediately

2.3 Account Usage Rules

  • Do not transfer, rent, or lend your account to others
  • Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
  • Do not register accounts using false information

3. Subscription Services

3.1 Subscription Terms

  • iOS in-app subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store
  • Web subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (our Merchant of Record)
  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Subscription fees are charged to the payment method associated with your Apple ID or your registered Paddle payment method

3.2 Pricing and Payment

  • Subscription prices are as displayed in the App or on the website
  • Prices may vary by region
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices; price changes will take effect in the next subscription period

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • Apple App Store subscriptions: cancel in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; refund requests are handled by Apple
  • Web subscriptions and credit packs: see our Refund Policy
  • After cancellation, you can continue using paid features until the end of the current subscription period

3.4 Free Trials

  • If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription after the trial period ends
  • If you do not wish to continue, please cancel before the trial period ends

4. User Conduct

4.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

When using the App, you shall not:

  • Upload, store, or transmit illegal or prohibited content
  • Infringe on others' intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights
  • Upload files containing viruses, malicious code, or other harmful programs
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal commercial activities
  • Use automated tools to massively access or scrape Service content
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits or security measures

4.3 Content Responsibility

  • You are fully responsible for all content you upload
  • You warrant that you have the legal right to upload the content
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 App Intellectual Property

  • The App and all its content (including but not limited to software, design, text, images) are owned by us
  • Without our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works

5.2 User Content

  • You retain all rights to content you upload
  • You grant us a limited license necessary to provide the Service
  • This license is only for storing, processing, and displaying your content

5.3 AI Processing Results

  • AI analysis and processing results are generated based on content you provide
  • You are free to use and dispose of these results
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI results

6. Service Changes and Termination

6.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the Service at any time
  • Update App features and interface
  • Adjust service tiers and quotas

Significant changes will be communicated to users in advance.

6.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms
  • Prolonged account inactivity
  • As required by law

6.3 User Account Deletion

  • You can request account deletion at any time
  • After deletion, your data will be processed according to the Privacy Policy
  • Paid subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the Refund Policy

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Service Provision

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The Service will meet all your requirements
  • Any errors will be corrected

7.2 AI Services

  • AI analysis results are for reference only and do not constitute professional advice
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI results
  • For important decisions, please consult relevant professionals

7.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services (including but not limited to Apple, Paddle, Google).

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Damages Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits
  • Data loss
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of goodwill

8.2 Liability Cap

If we are found liable, our liability shall be limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Negotiation

In the event of a dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve it through friendly negotiation.

9.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of law rules).

9.3 Jurisdiction

Disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent people's court in our location for litigation.

10. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
  • Amendments: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; modified Terms will be posted within the App or on the website; continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to exercise any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
